NHS dentistry covers minor and major dental care treatment for patients who need urgent care. The treatments under NHS include bridges, dentures and crowns. Other treatments like orthodontics and implants are available depending on the patient’s needs. These treatments follow a specific band scheme for payments.
An NHS dentist’s role involves the following.
When you want to schedule NHS dental services at McKennell Dental Practice, we will check your basic details, such as name, contact details and date of birth, to book your first appointment. The NHS dentist will ensure you get quality dental services for the best result. We are a child-friendly clinic that offers full, free NHS services to children below the age of 18.
What you will pay will depend on the necessary treatment to ensure your mouth, teeth, and gums are healthy. We will only charge you for the services provided in each band and several visits to complete your procedure. If your treatment isn’t free, you will pay the charges for each course of treatment.
